I love building things, from building single page web applications to building great teams. For nearly 20 years, web applications and software development has been my passion and I’m lucky to be able to realize that passion every day.
As of August 2015, I’m powering the collective creation of the world at Tilt as an engineering leader and site leader in Blacksburg, VA. Tilt is a fast paced, high growth company with some exciting challenges ahead. Working at Tilt has and will continue to grow and challenge me as an engineer and leader. Tilt the World!
I started my career at a small startup, Webmail.us, which did business email hosting. There I was exposed to numerous new technologies, running a large scale systems, and working in a team. In 2007, we were acquired by Rackpace. There I had the opportunity to build some great products including Rackspace Hosted Exchange and the Rackspace Cloud Control Panel.
Blacksburg, VA is my home and also the home of my alma mater, Virginia Tech. I graduated in 2006 with a degree in Computer Engineering and Computer Science. I’m excited to be part of a growing and vibrant tech community nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. In my spare time, I enjoy golf, hiking, and snowboarding.
Above all, I’m a family man with a beautiful wife and amazing son.
