About

As you might have guessed, I get excited by things most people find “nerdy”. Between programming, MythTV, Magic the Gathering, and Star Trek, I don’t really have much time to be cool. Luckily, Virginia Tech has a large nerd population, so I seem to fit in pretty well. Some people have actually told me they would never have guessed I majored in computer engineering and computer science (yes they are different, except for the part about being in the same department, and having pretty much the same requirements).

As for my lively-hood, I am a software developer for Webmail.us. They keep me locked in an office with 4 other guys, programming all day on their webmail application. To make it worse, they stock the fridge with Mountain Dew and Fruit Roll Ups. They even had the audacity to put a couch in the office, which I believe is encouragement to spend the night.

Currently, I am team lead of our new Control Panel project
which is a .NET based application.

PS: I, along with other unmentioned parties, actually moved the couch in the office, not management.
